In the above video, the credit for the illustrated version of Sebastian goes to: @wongtwothree (Instagram) Sebastian is a very sweet, playful boy with the most delightful mustache marking. He was found outside and is happy to be back indoors with humans. He is a real character that will follow at your heels like a dog, grunts when he jumps, has a bit of flatulence, and will chirp at you to talk. He has become much more confident around people and is definitely made to be a housecat - he is very happy watching birds from a windowsill, and sleeping on the couch. Sebastian has good litter-box habits, enjoys sleeping on his back and playing with anything on a string. Batting around small toys on the ground is another favourite past-time of his. He loves getting pets and scratches, and will lean into your hand as he purrs. You'll also never have to worry about forgetting a mealtime because he will graciously remind you. Bathroom time is also Sebastian time, where he will inspect the shower and toilets out of curiosity. Sebastian has a history of skin lesions for which he requires daily liquid medication to help ease his itching. He is also on a hypoallergenic diet that is given in measured feedings to help him lose weight. While he gets along with other cats, Sebastian would be best in a home that has no other cats, because of his vet-ordered weight loss plan and hypoallergenic diet. Sebastian is FIV+. Cats with FIV can live a long and happy life. Check out some videos of Niko himself: Hi everyone! I’m a 26 year old majestic Blue & Gold Macaw named Niko. My mom presumes I’m a male, and I’m located in St. Catharines. My family loves me dearly but due to life changing circumstances I’m looking for an adult home with someone already experienced in parrot ownership, where I’ll live my best life. I’m not recommended for apartment dwellers or townhouses due to my Macaw noise levels. I have lived with my current family for 17 years so I need a person who is willing to put in the time necessary to gain my trust. Ideally someone who’s home a lot or always. I can talk. I flock call and will let you know when I want out of my cage - some people call it screaming. I suppose I’ve learned being loud gets attention. I’m hand friendly and will step up. I’m cuddly and will snuggle with my favorite person. I can bite as most birds can. I have experience with dogs. I don’t have experience with other birds. I sure love having people around me and lots of out of cage time. I also love music and singing. If you’re interested in adopting me please complete an adoption application in the “Files” section or contact an admin for one. Contact Parrot Adoptions Ontario if you'd Like to adopt Niko!Dominique is healing up, so he's not quite ready for adoption...but he will be in the New Year! Be sure to get in touch with Little RES Q to find out more about him and let them know if you'd be interested in adopting him when he's ready. Noelle is a very special senior girl (13 years old). She spent the bulk of her life living in an outdoor colony. In her senior years, her kind caretaker brought her inside to his home. Sadly, the caretaker passed away and his cats went into ACR's care. Noelle is initially shy but after a few days warms up and is friendly. Her favourite time of day is feeding time and she is not a picky eater. (you can hide medication in her food and she won't even notice). Although not a cuddler or lap cat and does not like to be picked up, Noelle is a wonderful companion. She loves to purr and be around her foster mom, including at night where she sleeps on the bed, on her own cushion, beside her mom's head. She loves to be scratched on the chin and neck and enjoys being gently brushed. Noelle is impeccable with the litter box and scratching post. Napping is also a favourite activity and she loves to switch it up using all her cushions, baskets and cardboard boxes lined with paper! Noelle is calm, quiet and independent. She is used to being ‘Queen of the Condo', although she is slowly adjusting to her foster brother Charles. Noelle is hyperthyroid and requires daily medication and yearly blood tests to monitor her condition. Noelle also has a slight heart murmur for which she does not need medication, but she will require yearly cardiac exams. All of Noelle's teeth have been removed. She needs to eat a good quality diet due to food sensitivities. Check out a happy, playful Noelle here: https://vimeo.com/744770988 Click Here to Find out about Adopting Noelle!
